An aeon ago, Elga's betrayal of the Dragon Lord Vyvern plunged the race of Dragons into conflict, and divided them into two warring factions.

Seeking mysterious artifacts of power believed to be hidden in the realm of Dragonica, Elga mounted a bloody invasion, but was finally defeated at great cost by the 5 Legendary Heroes and entombed in a hidden fortress, presumably for all time.

But Man might yet be the engineer of his own downfall.

The most beautiful of the 5 Legendary Heroes who defeated Elga in the Second Dragon War, Paris was also one of the most talented spell-casters ever born. However, her deadly ambition knows no bounds, and spurred her to turn to her ancient enemy for untold power.

Paris promised Elga freedom in return for infinite life and everlasting youth. She exchanged her heart for the Iron Spirit Gordon which resided in Elga’s chest. With the transplant, she felt a strong power and youth she never felt before. But Paris did not keep her promise and left Elga imprisoned in the forgotten Drakos Tower.

The Iron Spirit Gordon, now free from the shackled body of Elga, thrives in its new-found host. A sinister force spreads through the lands once more, corrupting its adorable creatures and turning them against the inhabitants of the realm.

Now, as heroes take up arms throughout the lands of Dragonica, the Enchantress Paris sees her iron grip weakening and rises for a battle to end all battles. Brave warriors struggle to gain transcendental powers as the very First of their Classes, but will that be enough to stop Paris when she strikes back?

As a young hero whose peaceful world is rapidly deteriorating due to the evil influences sweeping across the continents, your task is to grow into one of the foremost warriors in the land and to stand with the Dragonians in the fight against the forces threatening to devour the world.

Fortunately, the Forces of Good are not without their weapons. From May 2010, the heroes of Dragonica will have a chance to attain their 4th level jobs and transcend the limits of what has been achievable before now.

Even as Paris unleashes her fury on the topmost floor of Drakos Tower, another chilling presence begins to cause unrest amongst the denizens of Dragonica. An icy storm has descended upon a secluded island to the north of El Gregos and Faeres, altering the once luscious landscape to a crystallized cocoon of frost.

Townsfolk, now fearing shortage of supplies, have sought the guidance of a learned tradesman to help them cultivate new professions in preparation for the harsh winter days ahead.

Pick up a trade or two from the Profession Trainer in Port of Winds, before it’s too late. But be on the alert even as you master your newfound skills, for the scarcity of resources is just the tip of the iceberg…

Deep in the heart of the island, a frozen palace has sprung up from the once level terrain. Mesmerized by its deceptive beauty and strangely alluring music echoing through the mountains, curious adventurers have attempted to make it to the summit, in hope of unlocking the secrets of the mystical castle. Many have never been seen again.

Resentful and jealous of these new heroes, Paris is determined to make her final stand against them. She returns to the Drakos Tower, ready to call upon the very enemy whom she had once betrayed. With Elga’s help, Paris can return to her glorious past, with absolute powers.

Or so she thought. Elga has been waiting for this moment, since the time he was tricked to hand over his Iron Spirit Gordon to Paris.

Although the Iron Spirit Gordon grants its host the ultimate powers of immortality and everlasting youth, it also corrupts and devours the essence of the person. Now filled with Paris’ eminent powers, Elga can finally shatter the shackles that hold him in prison and once again unleash terror upon the world of Dragonica.
